Good Health is Everything

People in underserved communities in Hawaiʻi have higher rates of obesity and diabetes. The gap of health disparities between the affluent and those in underserved populations in Hawaiʻi is widening, and specific communities are facing a public health crisis.

Many of our chronic health challenges are solvable, when we take our health into our own hands. Several organizations are coming together to develop new approaches to providing access to quality care for everyone. Initiatives are underway to provide access to healthy food in all communities. By face health challenges together, we will see improvements in the health of the people of Hawaiʻi
